Flight Simulator Controller - One Step Closer to the Exhilaration of Flying an Aircraft

Flight simulator games are very enjoyable for novice and enthusiast alike but to really get the feel of piloting a real aircraft you need to add a flight simulator controller. The latest software and yokes are meticulously detailed on real aircraft cockpits, the flying experience gives you a real example of the feeling that a trained pilot can experience. For the enthusiast it is possible to attach to your PC or games console a flight simulator controller, rudder and pedals and even throttle controls among other things depending on how real you want the experience to be.

Most flying simulator games replicate real aircraft controls down to the minutest detail. When adding hardware to your game it is always a good idea to find out whether the hardware is compatible with your system, luckily most are plug and play via USB connection and there is no need to download drivers.

It is a well known fact that most pilots both commercial and military started their flying experiences on home computer software giving them an added familiarity when learning to fly real aircraft. Larger and more complicated flight simulators are used to train pilots in the aviation industry and the cockpits are so true to life that they look and feel exactly like the real thing, the home versions are surprisingly accurate in cockpit instrumentation and feel, when compared to these larger simulators.

Another great option to be found on the latest flight sim games is the large number of aircraft available from a Cessna to a Boeing 747, from helicopters to fighter jets. Each individual aircraft in these games replicate the controls and handling of the real thing, with such meticulous detail it is easy to experience what it is like to fly real aircraft.Of the handful of best selling flight yokes and controls many give the user the realism of throttle control, roll and pitch as well as HAT directional buttons and programmable flight manager options, bringing both accuracy and excitement.

Exploring Northern Italy From Brescia Airport

The Lombardy region of Italy is reknown for its stunning beauty, mouth-watering cuisine and warm, temperate clime, which is why it continues to be a favourite with tourists the world over. Packed full of enchanting landscapes and breath-taking bodies of water, there is something here for every kind of holiday-maker. From those who love all action adventure to others who just like to take it easy and indulge in the pleasures in life, Lombardy is one place that can potentially deliver even more then it promises.

There are several routes by air into the area, including Verona Villafranca Airport and all three Milan Airports. However Ryanair offers low cost flights direct from Stansted to Verona Brescia Airport which is located smack bang in the middle of this fabulous locale. Brescia itself is the second largest city in Lombardy after Milan and the start and end point for the Mille Miglia, a historic car race which takes place in April/May each year and boasts some incredible examples of antique automobiles.

Within the ancient city are a range of historic buildings, museums and monuments to visit, as well as a host of other tourist-type attractions and fine eateries to take in, but for most, the great attraction about travelling here is to get away from it all and journey slightly further afield. Situated in Brescia Arrivals, Hertz is the only Verona Brescia car hire firm based within the airport and once vehicled up, it makes trips to the surrounding areas much simpler. Journey to the spectacular Lake Garda, dreamy city of Verona, cosmopolitan hub of Milan or even just nearby Ronchi. This area of unspoilt countryside offers panoramic views over the city and shows rural Italy at its best. Complete with vineyards, the Ronchi is interspersed with trattorias where visitors can take the opportunity to satiate their desire for traditional cooking.

Located 18km outside of the city centre in a place called Montichiari (which is why the airport is also sometimes known as Montichiari Airport), Brescia Airport provides other facilities for onward transportation. For a fee of EUR11 single or EUR16.00 return, shuttle buses run to the Brescia bus and Brescia train stations, from where connections can be made to the rest of the Lombardy region and further afield. These stations are next to each other and just a 15 minute walk from the centre.

If you are not planning to do much sight-seeing or are intending to stay close to your accommodation, then taxis can be hailed from outside arrivals although this option can be quite expensive. An altogether more convenient and generally more cost effective way to travel is by Brescia airport transfers. By booking in advance it can save the hassle of queueing because a driver meets and greets in the arrivals hall and ensures visitors arrive at their final destination as unruffled and unstressed as possible.

It is an ideal place to visit year round as Brescia weather tends to be mild most of the time, with temperatures never dipping much below 12ºC even during the winter months. July and August can become incredibly humid but a quick dip in Lake Garda or a swim round the pool at one of the many sensational hotels in Brescia should ensure that the clammy heat, up to 36ºC, does not become unbearable.

What Do You Need to Do You to Make a Flight Reservation?

You now have decided that your next vacation is going to be an international destination. The only other thing that you need to plan or organize is to make a flight reservation. Next question is do you make a flight reservation with a travel agent or online on one of the travel websites?

If you choose a travel agent to book your flight Reservation are you aware that it will take time to get an answer from them that you do not have immediate access to check out the available flights on other airlines and their prices.

If you answered an airline online website or a travel website then you have got the right idea. This is how the future of airline travel and purchasing of airline ticket has evolved, and it is a very interesting business. Not only will you have the power to compare various airlines to the same destination with a single click of a button on your mouse. But you can play around with the different options available to you almost instantly without having too much difficulty knowledge or even a fast Internet connection. Now, enough about why you should choose an online airline ticket reseller let me explain to you why you should use them.

Before you can actually book a ticket online they are a few things you need to know beforehand that will make your process a lot easier and faster when making a flight Reservation.

o Travel destination and date of departure
o Number of people traveling
o Return date from destination
o Budget allocation

Having these things handing just makes it a lot easier to have the booking process go smoother and also to understand what it is that need in your flight booking. This information becomes your main criteria allowing you to compare it directly with any other website out there.

The following factors will influence your airline ticket price and should be considered very carefully.

o Departure date (flexible, meaning, can you travel during the week)
o Departure time (either early morning flights or really late night flights)
o Destination city (more than one airport find out prices to both)
o Direct or connecting flight (cheaper to fly a connecting flight, than to fly a direct flight)

All these points above will need to be played out in different scenarios that can accommodate your every need. There is no need to say that you would like to have an early morning flight but you cannot possibly make it because of your work commitments. Try to be as realistic as possible when making these online quotes.

You should have a pen and paper handy at all times. Writing down your various options that you have looked for, under which website and how much they quoted so that you can go on to another website and compare them. I repeat, do not book at your first website that offers you a low price. Go out and compare first and if it is the best price. Then go ahead and book it.

I hope that you understand that making a flight Reservation online is by far the simplest and easiest thing that you could possibly do. And you will not have to break a sweat about it, but one thing is for certain. The more research you do on your flight reservation. The greater the chance will be that you will save money on your airline tickets.

Christmas Skiing - Choose a French Ski Chalet in a Traditional Alpine Village

France is probably the top ski destination in Europe as it has such a wide variety of resorts and excellent ski infrastructure. In addition it's very easily accessible for British skiers with flights to and from many regional airports. Many French ski resorts open during the third week of December, but that doesn't always mean there will be good skiing at Christmas time!

If you've carried out some research when planning your skiing holiday, you will know that it's wise to go for high altitude resorts, preferably with a glacier, to ensure superior, snow-sure conditions at Christmas time.

However, if you are looking that magical Christmas feeling, remember that many top French ski resorts are purpose-built and relatively new. Whilst they are excellent in many ways, they lack the alpine charm that traditional villages have at Christmas time. Bricks and concrete box structures are just not quite the same as beautifully constructed wood and stone chalets!

Villages such as Val d'Isere have kept their traditional feel with a central square, markets, and attractive stone buildings such as the centuries-old baroque church, which commands a central position in the village. The exteriors of new buildings are in keeping with traditional Savoyard architecture, whilst comprising elegant modern interiors. The village exudes a timeless quality, which is not really surprising as it dates from the eleventh century! Some of the most beautiful buildings are luxury ski chalets, a few of which can accommodate parties of up to 20 people.

Val d'Isere, a French ski resort with a unique traditional charm, has a thriving resident population all year round. Many families can trace their ancestry through countless generations in the Savoyard locale. As well as being one of the top destinations for all different types of snowsports, there are also various cultural activities and local events which make for a lively local community.

Of course, Val d'Isere also ticks all the boxes when it comes to planning a successful ski holiday. The resort benefits from an altitude of 1850m, it has over 300km of pistes in the Espace Killy ski area, it has one of the most extensive and efficient networks of lifts, tows, gondolas and cable cars. Of particular interest to early-season skiers is the famous La Grande Motte glacier which offers two thousand vertical feet of skiing and snowboarding, and keeps temperatures down! A catered ski chalet will take any holiday stresses away and allow you to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing Christmas.

There are many other rustic ski villages in the French alps to choose from. Some of the best-known ones situated at altitudes of more than 1500m include Courchevel and Meribel in Les Trois Vallees, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, and La Rosiere.

Brazil: A Carnival of Life

The Carnival of Rio is one of the most popular annual parties in the whole world. The exuberant floats, the beautiful samba dancers, and the contagious joy of its people make Brazil the ideal spot for those searching for excitement and unique experiences. In fact, once you hear the rhythmic beating of the drums, your feet will start moving turning you into another participant of this great celebration that takes place in Samba schools, on Avenida Marques de Sapucai, or in the street blocks. But Brazil offers much more - It offers natural beauty and green areas like no other place. It's a place injected with life. From the Amazon rainforest to the Iguazu Falls, there is definitely plenty to see and do in Brazil.

What to do?

Looking for exuberant nature? Head north to the Amazon rain forest where you will find thousands of unique species of plants and animals, and also indigenous tribes. Make sure to book a tour, so you can get the most out of this experience while staying safe. Manaus is the capital of the Amazonas State and the best place to go to visit the Amazon Forest. Belem is the second largest city in the Amazon region with religious festivals and traditional markets.

Looking for beautiful beaches? Head northeast to Salvador (Bahia), Olinda, Recife or Natal. It is considered the country's sunniest region with colonial architecture and street parties all year round.

Looking for cosmopolitan cities? Head southeast to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. In Rio you will find beautiful beaches such as Copacabana and Ipanema along with the famous open arms statue - Christ The Redeemer. The statue is a symbol that represents the culture of the people from Rio (Cariocas) and their welcoming hospitality. Cariocas are known for their easy-going, laid-back culture in contrast to the more reserved people from other cities. Sao Paulo is Brazil's largest, richest and most cosmopolitan city defined by a diverse cultural and business life. Sao Paulo is so diverse that is home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan. It also has strong Italian and Arab influences. The people of Sao Paulo are known as hard-working and industrious people contrasting with the Cariocas and the people from other regions.

Where to eat?

Brazil's national dish is feijoada, a hearty stew made of black beans and pork. It's a heavy dish, so take your time before eating it. Excellent seafood can also be found in the coastal towns of Brazil. Brazilian snacks called lanches include a wide variety of pastries such as coxinha, empadinha, and pastel. If you are in the mood for good barbeque, try the Brazilian "Churrasco" served at many restaurants. A restaurant meal with a drink usually costs $10 making eating out a very feasible experience for those on a budget. Fast food is also available and you will find as many Bob's (a famous fast-food chain in Brazil) as McDonald's in the big cities.

Where to stay?

In the Pantanal region - a place full of wild like and wetlands - tourists usually stay in fazendas, which can be described as big ranches. Boat hotels are also a popular option for tourists who want to have a relaxing time fishing and watching the Pantanal wildlife. In the big cities, you will find 5 star hotels as well as pousadas (guesthouses) and hostels.

Visas & Documents

o Citizens from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay may enter the country with a valid ID card and stay up to 90 days.

Top Tips on How to Choose Your Rental Skis

There are a few things to consider about rental skis, the first big question is whether you should buy or rent. You should rent.

Honestly, unless you are skiing at least 3 times a year, the development in ski technology means that you will be hard-pressed to justify buying skis or a snowboard in terms of value for money, and add to that the hassle of organising extra baggage on flights.

The amount of choice that exists now means that you should never put up with skis that aren't right for you, no matter what your experience level or fitness and body type.

There are different factors to take into account, and its vital to be completely honest with the staff in the shop. Don't be thinking that the better skis you have the better you will ski! A novice will struggle on skis for experts, and an expert will be limited by beginners skis. Here are the things to bear in mind when choosing:

The length of the ski (or board)- the shorter the ski, the easier it is to turn, but the less stable it will be at high speed or in fresh snow.

The width - Similarly, narrow skis are easy to turn, but not so good in deeper fresh snow, where they will dig in and slow you down.

The condition of the ski - surface damage isn't anything to worry about, but the base of the ski and the edges are the important bit. These should both be smooth and without any holes or cracks.

The Sidecut - this is the word to describe the hourglass shape that new skis have. the bigger the difference between the middle and the tip, the faster it will turn. So if you want to be doing loads of short quick turns, then you want an exaggerated shape, or a less dramatic sidecut for longer turns or powder skiing.

Your own attributes - your height, weight, ability and style of skiing will have to be taken into account. Be absolutely honest to get the best results, and don't lie about your weight, as this will help set the strength of your bindings keeping you on your skis. Bindings set to the wrong weight are actually more dangerous if you fall.

Flexibility of the ski - the harder the ski, the more stable it will be, but the more work it will be to turn, as a beginner a soft ski is more forgiving and easier to learn on.

Freestyle ski's/ twin-tips - if you want to have a go at the snow park, then twin-tips with plenty of 'pop' are for you, though a really soft ski will not give you great control in less than perfect conditions elsewhere.

Snowboarders can use the same tips here, though shop selection is often a bigger factor, with most resorts having specialist snowboard shops which will have greater choice and more knowledgeable staff.

So there you are. I hope I cleared things up for you.

Car Renting in Foreign Countries

When someone is traveling to another country, it is sometimes impossible to travel with his/her own car and this is due to some strict measures some countries have put up to curb insecurity. It is therefore important for people who are traveling in foreign countries to look for alternative measures. In addition, these arrangements should be done well in advance to ensure that there are no last minute disappointments. Before making any payments to a car rental in a foreign country, it is important to ensure that one is paying to the correct company and they will indeed get their car when they arrive at the airport or as per agreement. One of these measures is to rent a vehicle to cater for one's needs. In order to successfully rent a vehicle in a foreign country it is important to follow certain steps.

Firstly it is important to make sure that you have a valid driver's license specifically the international driver's license. This can easily be verified by contacting local authorities to confirm. In addition, one is required to bring along their driving license along with the international license. People with American licenses can use them in Western Europe also but not anywhere else. Secondly it is important to contact a travel agency a few weeks before the actual trip with minimum being three weeks, although this depends on individual rental agencies. The travel agency should have all your details and the date of your intended trip and the exact location to where you would want to drive.

Many American car rental companies have European counterparts hence making it easy for most users. Users are able to book as well as cancel reservations through the car rental agencies websites. After that it is time to choose the specific type of rental you are going to use and things to put in mind include model, size and dates to use the car. The other important thing is to determine the pick up as well as drop off points off the vehicle.

Depending on the car rental agency some agencies will allow users to drop off vehicles in a different location from where they picked it up. This is normally done with its own specific rates so it is better if you ask about the rates first before agreeing on anything. Some of the car rental agencies give users options of paying the full amount upfront or paying a small percentage in advance then paying the rest when you arrive at the pick-up point.

Another thing to consider is that different countries have different street signs as well as driving laws and it is therefore important to study this for the country you are visiting. Also one is advised to make sure that his/her automobile insurance policy does not have restrictions or limitations for driving in foreign countries. Language is also a very important factor while traveling to foreign countries and so it is important to learn some of the common traffic words.

Vacation Rentals - 4 Tips To Rent At Affordable Prices

Vacation rentals have emerged as an excellent substitute to hotel rooms. Several benefits offered by these vacation homes have made them the first choice of tourists all over the world. Some of the major advantages are more space, homely comforts and complete privacy that are enticing countless tourists. Here are 4 useful tips on how you can enjoy all these benefits by paying less money.

1. Choose The Right Destination

First of all, pick the right destination. There are many destinations where vacation rentals are available at reasonable prices. Mexico, Goa and Bulgaria are just few examples of this kind of places. If Europe is the continent where you wish to go, think of Portugal and Spain, as you can get homes there within your means.

2. Choose A Remote Location

Next, you need to consider location of vacation rentals. Try to rent at a distance from the locations in high demand and you can get larger villas with many additional features like swimming pool at much lower rates. You should not hesitate while making any such decision because remotely located vacation condos have their own advantages.

You get an opportunity to spend your vacations at a calm and peaceful location while enjoying countryside settings. Moreover, you will not miss the pleasure of beach activities also because you have the option of hiring a car that can take you there in very short period. So, you can clinch a nice deal by making a little compromise.

3. Plan Your Vacation During Off Season

Timing of your vacations is also very important if you wish to enjoy benefits of vacation houses by paying less money. Get information about peak tourist season and off-season at the destination you are going. Then, plan your vacations when inflow of tourists is minimum. You will get a wider range of vacation homes, villas and condos to choose from. Moreover, owners will be happy to offer you discounts up to 30 %. You can also save some money on flights and hiring cars when you visit during off-season.

4. Contact Owner Directly

Always rent directly from the owner. When you rent with the help of an agency, they eat up a major portion of rent as fees. Owner will be happy to pass on a part of his or her savings when you rent directly from him or her without any mediating agency.

Electrical Plug Adapters

There are two essential aspects to take note of. At the first instance, it is important to note that the electrical power specifications may vary from country to country that you are visiting. Not many countries have a electrical power specification as you have at home, and hence you should have the right adapter with you when you travel abroad. Secondly, the kind of wall mounted power outlet sockets in most of the countries, are not usually the ones that you find at home. It is entirely different, and your device power input plug may not fit into that socket at all.

The mains power voltage specifications differ from country to country. For example, the electrical and electronic devices in U.S. operate on 120 Volts AC, but the United Kingdom has a 220 volts AC outlet, which is different from the one in the United States. Secondly, your device power input plug will never fit the power outlet sockets available in the United Kingdom. Therefore, if you are traveling from home to the United Kingdom, you do not only need an adapter for your device power input plug, but a voltage converter as well, of the type which would convert the 220 Volts AC electrical power output to 110 Volts AC for your device to work properly.

It is recommended that, when-ever you plan your next visit abroad, take a look at the guide of the power outlet specifications available in the country or countries that you are visiting and prepare yourself to carry appropriate electrical accessories for those devices to work properly. There are indeed universal plug adapters available, which will comply with the power out input sockets of many countries, but the need of voltage converters cannot be ignored

A guide to international electric outlet specification is presented below:

COUNTRY VOLTAGE FREQUENCY

Afghanistan 220V 50 Hz

Albania 20V* 50 Hz

Algeria 230V 50 Hz

American Samoa 120V 60 Hz

Andorra 230V 50Hz

Angola 220V 50 Hz

Primary sources: Electric Current Abroad (1998 edition), U.S. Department of Commerce, National Technical Information Service; World Electricity Supplies and Electrical Plugs; an International Survey, (both 1993), British Standards Institute. Additionally, since this table was first posted in late 1995, numerous revisions have (and continue to be) made as a result of personal observations or reports from other travelers.

For further references please visit http://www.mindlogic.com/VOLT_ADPT.shtml

Now, it is not the question of having the right adapter with you when you visit abroad. You must be also concerned with the electrical power specification that is available in the country of your visit. Looking at the guide above, it is clearly understood that your electrical and electronic devices will require not only plug adapters but also a built-in or separate voltage converter. If you are planning a visit to the United Kingdom, you will need a device which converts the electrical power of 230 Volts Alternating Current (AC) to 110 Volts AC before you can apply that power to your equipment.. These converters need to be of the right specification of providing the right output alternating current and the frequency as well for your equipment to work correctly.

If you need to charge your digital camera in Beijing, you will need an adapter which lets you plug in your charger on the wall socket. That's not all. Beijing has an electrical power output of 220 Volts AC with 50 Hz frequency and your charger can only accept an input voltage of 120 Volts AC and 60Hz. Hz, which is the short form of Hertz, is the number of cycles the alternating voltage goes through one cycle. This AC output voltage is normally a sine-wave, alternating between a positive and a negative level. This is a smooth variation with time as the other variant, and completion of one such cycle in one second is termed as 1Hz. Therefore, a 110 Volt AC of 60 Hz has 60 cycles in one second.

Remaining on the aspect of charging your digital camera in Beijing, you do not only need a plug adapter but also the right voltage converter, which will give you a 120 Volts AC, 60 Hz output from an input of 220 Volts AC of 50 Hz, which is the standard electrical power in China. The converted AC voltage applied to your charger produces a much lower Direct Current (DC) voltage output to your digital camera, for charging the camera's re-chargeable battery. Application of the direct 220 Volts AC output, without a converter will not only destroy the charger unit but may also damage your digital camera, if it is plugged into the charger,

Therefore, when you travel abroad, it is desirable that you check the electrical power specification of the country or countries that you are visiting. At the same time you should determine the plug adapter that you would be wanting. For this purpose you may like to visit http://www.mindlogic.com/VOLT_ADPT.shtml for more information.

Voltage converters are available in different specifications, which mainly depend upon the purpose of its application. For example, a voltage converter for your digital camera recharging unit will be much smaller than the one you would need to turn on your iron, if you have one with you. The varying sizes of such converters depend upon the kind of alternating current or wattage that you would require to either turn on the charger or the iron. The wattage along with the specification of input and output voltages are generally specified on the body of the converter units that you are buying.

There are adapters available which cater for multi-voltage operation. For example, the adapter itself will give you an option to be switched from 110 Volts AC output to 230 volts AC output. This is done through a toggle, at times appearing as a screw head on the converter body itself. But then again you may need a plug adapter to plug this mini-converter in the electrical power source available in the country that you are visiting. In certain countries the electrical power may have surges. Surges are high frequency levels of very high voltages, suddenly appearing at the output of the power source for a fraction of a millisecond or even micro-second. There are such adapters which are available with surge protection. Please bear in mind, thunderstorms can produce these electrical surges which may damage your equipment.

Please visit http://www.planetomni.com/VOLT_ADPT.shtml for more information on plug converter, travel adapter, international plug adapters, ac dc plug, foreign plugs adapters, travel adapters plugs, electrical converter, foreign power plug, universal plugs, electric adapter travel, universal plug adapter, travel electrical plug adaptor, adaptor plugs, plug adapter, international phone jacks.

Learn to Fly on Your Computer - RC Flight Simulator

Flying model aircraft via radio control (RC) has been a very popular hobby since the mid 1960s, with the advent of compact electronic radio control systems. However, in order to learn how to fly, all instruction had to be done with your model flying in the air. There was essentially no training that could be accomplished on the ground. As you can imagine, this method of learning to fly led to many accidents and crashed or damaged model aircraft.

With the availability today of powerful personal computers, practical radio control model airplane flight simulators are an everyday reality. For a very modest cost, you can purchase RC flight simulator software and hardware for home use. The hardware is a realistic replica of an RC transmitter (usually called the controller), plugged to your computer via the USB port. An RC flight sim produces extremely realistic images of flying sites, and the computer generated aircraft look and behave virtually like the real thing. You can even see the flight control surfaces move to your control stick's input.

The aspiring model airplane pilot uses the controller to taxi the airplane to the RC simulator's runway, increase the throttle, and take off just as if you were at the airfield. Of course, all engine sounds are realistically produced by the RC flight sim. The airplane becomes airborne, and the computer monitor's scene is automatically orientated such that you get a great view of the airplane in flight from your position "on the ground." It's just as if you were really at the field.

When learning to fly a radio control model airplane, it is always a very good idea to have an instructor for your first few actual flights. The RC flight sim, however, is invaluable in minimizing the time needed in the air to become an accomplished flyer. As a general guide, you can easily cut your flight practice time in half when an RC flight sim is an integral part of your training strategy.

Another model flight training area that RC sims have changed forever is learning and practicing advanced maneuvers. In the past, learning a new stunt had to be done at the field. You always risked a crash when practicing loops, rolls, inverted flight, etc. With the availability of the flight simulator on your computer, you can now safely practice these new maneuvers as much as you like in the privacy of your own home, without fear of damaging your aircraft. It is almost impossible to describe how quickly you can acquire new flying skills via this method.

In addition, most of the new RC flight sims have very useful video clips from experienced model airplane instructor pilots on how to perform these new flight maneuvers. They include maneuver descriptions of what you will be doing on the RC flight sim, as well as a discussion of common errors. They even discuss what you will be doing with your control sticks to perform these stunts.

New aircraft are constantly being added to RC flight sim programs. One can experience flying a wide variety of model aircraft with a click of your computer mouse button. These planes can range from lightweight electric powered park flyers to turbine jet fighters. The sounds, control feel and performance of these various airplanes within the RC flight sim are very accurately reproduced.

Whether you are just starting out learning to fly radio control model aircraft, wish to improve your flying skills, or just want to have some fun flying indoors on a cold, windy winter's night, the new generation of RC flight sims is an ideal way to enter the fascinating world of computer flight training.

Why Invest in Natal, Brazil?

The state of Rio do Grande Norte is on the brink of being an emerging global tourist market. Unlike more traditional Brazilian tourist destinations, Natal is closer to Europe and North America and offers a cheaper option for flights, good food, restaurants and hotels. This added to its unspoilt beaches, average temperatures of 30 °C and the development of the world's future fourth largest airport. Which is designed to bring in five million travelers per year, it's no wonder that major airlines and travel companies are now offering direct flights and package holidays to the area.

o Natal is famous for coconut palm trees dotted along the coastline and sapphire waters offering gentle sea breezes.
o Activities such as sand dune buggying and water activities are readily accessible.
o Natal is the closest of Brazil's regions to Europe, with a rapidly increasing tourist demand from Europe and North America, thus the government is constructing the World's fourth largest airport
o The bridge connecting Natal City and the beach resorts to the north completed in 2007, thus having the journey time to 25 minutes.
o Tourism and prices to the south are currently almost three times the price to the north!

Why invest in Rio do Grande Norte?

Lifestyle

Being 4000km closer to Europe, Natal offers much cheaper and shorter flights (only 7 hours) from Europe and is becoming a favourite European destination. Natal also holds the accolade of being the safest capital city in Brazil.

The city of Natal, with an estimated population of almost one million, earns its nickname "The City of the Sun" from having an average temperature of 30°C and sunshine 360 days a year.

Beaches

Heading north from Natal City, exploration along the endlessly stunning coast is one of the unique joys of Brazil. Famous spots such as the Genipabu Dunes or the pristine white sand beaches of Cabo de São Roque, are an ideal location for swimming, on endless varieties of water sports, dune buggies, and horse rides along the beach.

In addition, windsurfing and kite-surfing are also popular, as well as more relaxing options such as world-class scuba-diving on the Maracajau Reef.

Tourism and Infrastructure Development

European tourism levels (mainly from Portugal, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden & U.K.) are increasing at a rapid pace. American Airlines is expected to be the first US airline next year to operate direct flights to Natal via Miami (five hour flight time), whilst British Airways will fly direct from London. Large holiday companies, like Thomson, are now offering package holidays and charter flights to Natal, at incredibly attractive prices. It is fair to say this is the start of an enormous future global tourism market. As a result, resort demand, rental rates, and land prices are all increasing at similarly rapid rates.

This influx of tourists will be further enhanced in 2014 when Brazil hosts the FIFA world cup for the second time. The decision to allow Brazil to host the world cup indicates that FIFA are happy that local infrastructure is in place to welcome large volumes of visitors. Nineteen cities have expressed an interest in hosting games and Natal looks likely to be a recipient with the planned development of a new 51,000 capacity stadium to be constructed in the city.

Strategy For a Cheap Flight to Brazil

So you want a cheap flight to Brazil, uh! Here you go with a few strategies in getting your cheap Brazil flight.

First things first, let's discuss taking advantage of the seasons. Of course there are, as everywhere else a kind of 4 season calendar year. And the approximate Brazilian seasonal division is:

Spring is mid-September through mid-December
Summer is mid-December through mid-March
Autumn is mid-March through mid-June
Winter is mid-June through mid-September

Now the best time for a cheap flight to Brazil is mid-June through mid-September, and the second cheapest time is March through June.

Worth bearing in mind is the 4 seasons as it were, are only really very noticeable in South Brazil. Effectively, the rest of Brazil has only 2 seasonal patterns; summer and winter.

You won't get a cheap flight to Brazil from December through March, as it is not only Summer time but Carnival also falls in February or March (Carnival period is linked to Lent and accordingly the dates will vary from year to year. An easy way to work it out is to count back 6 weeks from Easter) . Unless that is, you know some secrets, but more on that later.

The other point is to consider flying into Brazil to airports other than in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo. And finally, do checkout the charter companies that fly to Brazil, often times; they will fly into regional airports (such as the north-east, north and west Brazil) and can offer last minute seats at incredibly low prices, thus securing your cheap flight to Brazil.

Viva Italia - Skiing The Italian Alps

Italy remains one of the best kept skiing secrets in Europe, but perhaps that's how the Italians like it. Though often overshadowed by France and Switzerland, Italy offers skiers some of the finest resorts and hotels in the Alps.

Italia has a relaxed charm and a unique Italian ambiance that is not found in other Alpine countries. With its excellent cuisine, fine wine, chic boutique shopping and sophisticated après ski night life, it's no wonder that the Italian Alps are a popular luxury winter holiday destination for the discerning skier.

And off course, skiing and snowboarding aren't the only winter sports on offer; increasingly more people who prefer not to risk life and limb by hurtling down a mountain at break neck speed are enjoying more sedate winter holidays. Snow-shoeing for example, makes for a relaxed walk on the white side; technology has come a long way and snow shoes no longer resemble unwieldy tennis rackets. New modern designs mean light weight manoeuvrable shoes, perfect for exploring snowy forested trails.

Or if you want a real work out, why not give cross-country skiing a go? This sport is the oldest form of skiing, and is one of the best forms of exercise possible. These narrow skis use soft, comfortable boots which are attached to the ski at the toe only, allowing uphill travel as well as down. The sport is good for all levels of ability, and a great way to get out and enjoy the snow at your own pace.

As hosts of the 2006 winter Olympics which took place in and around Torino (Turin), Italy has proved itself worthy of competing as a ski destination in the international arena, and for many clued-in Brits, Italy's laid back attitude to life, love of fine food and wine, good value for money and beautiful mountains are an ongoing draw.

Italy has over 100 resorts scattered over the northern part of the country, in the Italian Alps and the jagged Dolomites. The mountains of Piedmont, where Pragelato and Sestriere are located, hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics and are a particular favourite for ski holidays.

Pragelato is set within the Chison Valley between two spectacular national parks, the Val Troncea and Orsiera-Rocciavre. Swathed by larch and fir woods, wide alpine grassland and glaciers, these natural sanctuaries dominated by silence, are ideal habitats for an array of wildlife, and the area offers some of Italy's finest skiing and snowboarding.

With a flight from the UK taking under three hours, Italy is just as accessible as other Alpine nations and generally considered slightly better value compared to other British favourites such as Switzerland and France. So, maybe it's time you tried skiing the Italian way.

Tips to Get a Cheaper Car Rental For Your Vacation

Let's face it, vacations are expensive and vacation car rentals are just one component of the total cost.

Whether you are taking a vacation and want to drive there, rather than fly, or you are flying to your destination and renting a car while there, you want to plan ahead to get the best price on your rental car... and all the other factors of your rental.

Vacation planning usually takes place months in advance. You many often need to look at many factors when making a budget. You may need to consider the costs of airfare, accommodations, attractions and events, meals and car rental.

When trying to get the cheapest vacation car rental, you will want to find the best price on the vehicle that meets your needs. You want to look a the size of the vehicle, based on the number of passengers, the amount of luggage, and always, gas mileage. The size of the vehicle will often play a large part in determining the price. You need to figure out whether the higher price of getting an SUV or Minivan is justifiable. If you are taking a long road trip, then the comfort and size of a larger vehicle will often
justify it's higher cost. If you're only using the vehicle to travel from the airport to your hotel, and to visit attractions, the money you save by renting a smaller car can be better used to enjoy the actual attractions and events that you visit.

If you are flying to your destination, finding a car rental company that is on site at the airport will save you the time and hassle of having to load your family and all their stuff on a shuttle bus!

The best way to get a cheaper rental is to start looking early and comparing prices. There are lots of car rental companies that are looking for your business and you want to make sure that you're getting the best deal you can.

Internet booking sites provide a quick and easy way of searching multiple companies at once, to get a feel for which company is offering a better rate. By narrowing down your search, then you can also check certain rental company website directly for specials, deals and E-coupons.

You can almost always find a car rental discount code or coupon that will lower the price of your car rental. There are hundreds of membership programs and professional associations that offer discount codes with one or more car rental companies.

Getting the best price on your vacation car rental is merely a matter of planning in advance and looking at all your options, to get the most bang for your buck.

Car Hire in Florida

Florida is surprisingly quite a small state and it is therefore relatively easy to drive around. It is even possible to cross from the east to the west coast in a couple of hours. One of the longest journeys in Florida is from Panhandle in the west to Miami and this can be done in a day.

If you are thinking of taking the bus to places on your trip, it will involve a lot of planning as areas such as Miami and Orlando are well catered for but the more rural areas are not linked. Trains are also not very well linked and are scattered around.

If you are planning a holiday to Florida and want to see as much of the state as you can, Florida car hire is a fantastic way of seeing this area of the world. The United States Highway 1 is a picturesque, scenic and historic highway to travel along and can really add to your trip. This road develops in Key West and continues up to the east coast.

Florida is still a large area but it is spread out, so if you plan to visit Pensacola and Miami on your break then booking a flight as well as car hire is perhaps a good idea because it is a long drive, just not quite as long as trips in some states in America.

The interstate highways system does make travelling around the state enjoyable and simple, so car hire is definitely recommended. The speed limit is predominantly at 70 mph in most rural areas but does tend to drop to 65, 60, 55 or even 50 in some more built-up urban areas.

How Do I Track My Jet Chartered International Flight?

Airport names are clearly listed on e-ticket printouts or itineraries and travelers are advised, to use search engines, to locate the desired, official airport website. Most airport links are designed primarily, to provide arrival and departure times. This information, is usually located on their home page.

Even if the flight number or airline used, is not readily available to the user, but approximate arrival times are, all incoming flights are tagged with an estimated time of arrival, as well as an actual time period, when the plane touches down. This information is prominently displayed and can be tracked, almost instantly. Friends or family who may be monitoring the status of your trip, can also set up an email alert, at some of these websites, to be notified when a particular arrival or departure, has taken place.

Accessing the sites through a personal digital assistant, cell phone, laptop or desktop is very easy to do and requires very little or no effort. Moreover, passengers and loved ones, can call an international airport's toll free number to get 24 hour access to flight information and even speak to an airline customer service representative, if necessary. Furthermore, international jet chartered flights can also be tracked by logging on to airline websites and clicking on their arrival and departure tabs.

Airlines information gets updated regularly as well and most of the time, it's just as instant or as fast, as the government agency, that runs the airport, particularly, for countries in the European Union, Asia and parts of the Middle East.
