Airport names are clearly listed on e-ticket printouts or itineraries and travelers are advised, to use search engines, to locate the desired, official airport website. Most airport links are designed primarily, to provide arrival and departure times. This information, is usually located on their home page.
Even if the flight number or airline used, is not readily available to the user, but approximate arrival times are, all incoming flights are tagged with an estimated time of arrival, as well as an actual time period, when the plane touches down. This information is prominently displayed and can be tracked, almost instantly. Friends or family who may be monitoring the status of your trip, can also set up an email alert, at some of these websites, to be notified when a particular arrival or departure, has taken place.
Accessing the sites through a personal digital assistant, cell phone, laptop or desktop is very easy to do and requires very little or no effort. Moreover, passengers and loved ones, can call an international airport's toll free number to get 24 hour access to flight information and even speak to an airline customer service representative, if necessary. Furthermore, international jet chartered flights can also be tracked by logging on to airline websites and clicking on their arrival and departure tabs.
Airlines information gets updated regularly as well and most of the time, it's just as instant or as fast, as the government agency, that runs the airport, particularly, for countries in the European Union, Asia and parts of the Middle East.
