Without a doubt, the Bayliner 185 has been one of the most popular bow rider boats under 20 feet world wide. The 185 has always been a great family boat, excellent for taking the kids out on the water for a day of fishing or tubing.

The large stern sun pad makes for a comfortable day of relaxing and sun tanning. The 185 is easy to tow from lake to lake with a towing road weight of 3000 pounds.

With a standard base price around $16,000 (at the time this article was written), you can easily understand why the Bayliner 185 is on so many bow rider boat buyers short list.

Some of the standard features are;

Corner starboard jump seats which can be flipped upside down so they can be used as steps to get to the transom or fishing platform.
The cockpit seats are deep, an excellent security feature especially for children. Also makes for a warmer boat outing in early spring or late fall when cooler weather is upon us.
The stereo system is a Jensen 129 watt with two marine speakers and a MP3 jack, providing plenty of sound for this size of boat.

The optional flight package comes with a custom wakeboard tower, additional Jensen marine stereo speakers, adjustable bimini top, spreader lights and an extended swim platform.

Flight Pro Simulator Review

If you would like to fly an airplane but you lack the license, the funds and the time, you should take a look at the flight simulator games out there.

Several flight simulations compete for your attention and your money. There are some free flight simulators that give you a basic idea of what flying could be like. The graphics are sometimes quite good but unfortunately they are not very realistic.

6 features you should look out for when you choose a flight simulator:

1. Graphics and scenery: A state of the art flight sim will have decent looking video animations and, very important, a realistic map of the world. Wherever you fly, the flight sim should have correctly mapped scenery and landscape.

2. Selection of planes: How many different planes are available to fly? Check for military and passenger airplanes, turboprop and jet stream, helicopters and carrier airplanes.

3. Weather and time: A flight simulation should offer realistic weather that challenges your pilot skills. Ideally, weather and time can be customized or synchronized with real world conditions.

4. Realistic cockpit and controls: Make sure your flight sim offers a cockpit view that is modeled correctly after the real plane.

5. Additional features and add-ons available: If the flight sim has an active developer team or community, you will find add-ons and additional features being published regularly. This will help if you ever get bored.

6. Aircraft Carriers: If you find a flight sim with integrated aircraft carriers, you might have a great time. Its challenging to start and land your airplane on a carrier, especially at night, but it's a great experience and it will glue you to the screen until you have mastered it.

I have long searched for a good flight simulator that includes as many of the above mentioned features as possible. Unfortunately, most modern flight games focus solely on military conflicts, arcade flying experience and multiplayer battles. While there is nothing wrong with that, it is not what I was looking for: a realistic flight experience.

Aiport Mania - First Flight - Game Review

Airport mania first flight is another in the series of hectic action games, however, this time you find yourself in the seat of an air traffic controller. This time it is flights at risk, so you better have your brain well in gear and your clicking finger to the ready.

In all airport mania levels you have a bird's eye view of a runway, and your goal is to be a successful air traffic controller, so that means effective landing, loading, refuelling and everything in-between.

Like all games that offer one, the only place to start is the tutorial. This tutorial is light hearted and will allow you to get to grips with the structure and of the game, without being dropped straight in at the deep end.

One of the main differences between this game and others like it is the ability to gain combos. The higher your combo ranking the more money you will receive. Remember though do the job effectively before you do it quickly, never the other way around.

On this game the planes are colour coded and this helps to direct them into their gates. If you have two purple planes on the ground and only one purple gate, then you can store the other purple plane in the waiting area, this will delay the rate at which it becomes unhappy. Remember it is not only the passengers that get upset the planes do too!

When you get into the game itself, you will see four targets, to progress through the levels you will need to reach the basic target at a minimum. On top of the basic target you have the expert, master and supreme targets, the higher you get the more money you earn.

Just like an airport there will also be different types of planes, some are content to remain on the ground for a long time, others get impatient remarkably quickly, it is imperative that if you want to score highly you deal with grumpy planes quickly.

Of course with all games in this genre, you can upgrade specific items. One of the essential upgrades in airport mania brings you more waiting areas. This might not look imperative at the level you are on but you have to think ahead.

When you complete a stage all of your upgrades will disappear, however, unlike your upgrades you do carry your money over, so if you find that you may be able to complete the next level without an upgrade then do not get one for the sake of it, keep your money in the bank and you will have an easier task at a later stage.

Like many of the other time management games, you will find that you do not get bored in a hurry, and this is always an exceptional quality for games to have. There are a lot of points I have not even begun to uncover in this review, these are just some of the fundamental points that will help you along the way.
