European Stag Weekends

Time to pack your bags and grab your ID cards gentlemen, because we hear Europe is getting hot this summer for stag weekend getaways! What better choice for your last chance of freedom than flying to the continent for two days of absolute fun? So what are you waiting for? Make your decision and leave everything behind (fellow blokes excluded) one last time in your life!

Continental Europe is definitely a no-brainer choice for your mini-holiday as it has a different feel from Britain and seems far from home but is still very easily reachable, which makes it perfect for a weekend-only getaway.

This year, hotspots include Amsterdam, traditionally Europe's must-go-to location for stag weekends, and sunny Spain with trendy Ibiza and Barcelona topping the list. The latter in particular offers a really wide range of choice, with well-known destinations such as Valencia, Tenerife and Marbella being a very good pick for your stag madness.

Making a splash this season though are Eastern Europe's rising locations, with an endless list of cities ready to accommodate UK visitors - Prague, Riga, Krakow, Bratislava and Budapest just to name a few.

And if you want to have more of a balance (read: a cultural aspect), capitals are always a good choice, and remain great places for all the night extravaganza as well. So Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm and so on are always safe bets to have a great time.

Haven't made up your mind yet? If that's the case, there is a handful of less-known, wonderful destinations at your disposal they may be less 'touristy' but would make for a fantastic stag weekend - Salou in Spain and Bourgas in Bulgaria are two very good examples.
